According to the National Nutrition and Health Survey, among the residents aged 18 and above in my country, there are 160 million people suffering from hypertension, accounting for 18.8% of the total population in this age group; more than 20 million people have diabetes and 20 million people have impaired fasting blood sugar, accounting for 2.6% and 1.9% of the total population in this age group respectively; there are 200 million overweight adults and more than 60 million obese patients, accounting for 22.8% and 7.1% of the total adult population respectively. It is particularly noteworthy that nutrition-related chronic diseases in my country are beginning to develop rapidly, with small differences between urban and rural areas (except for a few types of diseases) and younger patients. Modern scientific research has proved that the active substances rich in dates - polysaccharides and other trace elements, have anti-complement activity, promote lymphocyte proliferation, enhance the body's immunity, and have special effects on the prevention and treatment of hypertension, cancer, etc. As a relatively rare "high potassium and low sodium" food, dates are beneficial for lowering high blood pressure, preventing stroke, and maintaining heart and kidney function. In addition, eating dates appropriately can also help eliminate the current common "sub-health" phenomenon. High mental stress, fatigue, poor sleep quality, low immunity and susceptibility to illness are the "not yet in place" diseases that people often encounter nowadays, which greatly reduce people's quality of life.
