How to cure a cold

How to cure a cold

People grow up eating grains and cereals, so it is normal to get sick. The most common of these is the common cold, and many people with poor resistance are more often accompanied by colds. Especially when the seasons change, many people suffer from colds. Those who hate taking medicine suffer even more, and have to endure headaches, runny noses, and nasal congestion.

So what are the different types of colds? What different ways can be chosen to deal with different symptoms? Is there a simple and effective way to treat colds at home? Many people who don't want to take medicine are always looking for this method, which is introduced below.

1. When you have a cold and a headache, put a clean towel in a basin, soak it with appropriate amount of hot water, wring out the water slightly, fold it flat and press it on the patient's eyes, nose, or Fengchi acupoints on the head and neck to relieve symptoms. 2. Put 25 ml of wine into a pot and boil to evaporate the alcohol. Then beat in an egg, stir and add 1 spoon of sugar. When taking the medicine, dilute it with boiled water and drink it, then cover yourself with a blanket and rest. The next day, symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and sore throat can be significantly reduced or disappear. For some people, the cold will be cured after drinking it once. 3. Cut 1 pear and 25 grams of ginger into thin slices, add 1 bowl of water, boil and drink it all at once. It is effective on the same day. 4. Use 100 grams of green onion and 3 slices of ginger, decoct them into a soup or drink with boiling water. You can also use 20 grams of scallion, 5 slices of ginger, 1 spoon of sugar, a handful of tea leaves, and 1 bowl of water, and boil them for drinking. 5. Wash 20 peanut shells and 3 scallions (with roots) with clean water, put them in a pot, add appropriate amount of cold water, boil them and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat, filter out the soup, drink it while it is hot, add clothes and cover yourself with quilts in time to make your head and body sweat slightly. If accompanied by vomiting and nausea, add 4 slices of ginger to this recipe and decoct together. If you also have sore throat and cough, add a few slices of duck pear when decocting the medicine in water.

Through the introduction of the above content, we can understand that different types of colds have different ways to relieve symptoms. People with the above symptoms can experiment themselves. After learning this knowledge, people who don’t want to take medicine or are too lazy to go to the hospital can solve their cold problems at home. But if you have a cold and a fever that doesn't go away, you should go to the hospital immediately.
