Which kind of cool mat is better

Which kind of cool mat is better

When summer comes, people often cannot sleep at night because of the heat, and many people suffer from insomnia. Although there are fans and air conditioners, they are of no use for the bed under the body. I wonder if you often toss and turn in the summer because the bed is too hot. Nowadays, many beds have sponge pads underneath. This kind of sponge pad can generate heat, which is very suitable in winter, but will make people feel hot in summer.

At this time, many people will go to buy cool mats. Everyone knows that a cool mat can make you feel very cool as long as you spread it on the bed. However, there are many kinds of cool mats on the market now, and people are often dazzled by the choices. If you buy a good one, it will be very comfortable to sleep on, but if the one you buy is not good, it will be really a headache. So when choosing a cool mat, you must know which one is better.

Which kind of cool mat is better?

Natural straw mats, bamboo mats, and rattan mats:

The size of the mat should strictly follow the size of the bed. It should be narrow rather than wide. Otherwise, the mat will be easily damaged because it is too wide and protrudes outside the edge of the bed.

Look: Check whether the color is uniform, light green or bright yellow. Then spread the mat flat to see if the weaving is tight and even. If the weaving is of uneven tightness and thickness, the tendons will be exposed and the edges will loosen easily, causing breakage and damage, affecting the service life. Check whether there are black spots, mold spots, insect holes, burrs or withered yellow grass. If so, it means that the straw mat is of poor quality.

Touch: Feel whether the mat surface is smooth and whether the edges and corners are neat and clean.

Smell: The materials are fresh and the new products woven that year have a natural fragrance. Whether it is a bamboo mat, a straw mat or a rattan mat, it should be fragrant but without any special odor.

Linen mat

In order to reduce costs and make up for the shortcomings in production technology, some manufacturers in the market currently use a large amount of viscose fiber (artificial cotton) instead of flax fiber, or mix ramie with flax to pass it off as good quality, and even use dry spinning technology to weave short hemp, the waste material produced in the production process, into linen mats. Although such products have a smooth and bright appearance, their quality is greatly reduced. Some products contain more than 70% chemical fiber. In order to avoid being deceived, there are several ways to identify them:

(a) High-quality linen mats have clear and dense textures, strong tensile resistance, and a natural and soft luster on the surface of the fabric, while chemical fibers have an overly bright luster.

(b) When light is shone through a linen product, cloud spots can be seen and a small amount of linen particles can be found.

(c) Pure linen products feel smooth and heavy, and will wrinkle slightly when gripped hard. (d) Take a linen yarn and burn it. If it smells like burning paper and the ash is fine and white-grey, it is linen. However, chemical fiber has a pungent smell after burning and the burning product is in the shape of balls.

Cowhide mat, luxury boutique

Perhaps because of the high price, people are often reluctant to buy cowhide mats. Cowhide mats have the longest service life among mat products, and the best ones are made from whole buffalo hide. Because leather has good breathability, it is mildew-proof, non-fading, non-sticky, anti-bacteria and anti-insect. It smells slightly like leather, which is pleasant. It has moderate coolness and becomes brighter with use. A cowhide mat with elegance and luxury is definitely the first choice for a luxurious family.

Not only when choosing a mat, people need to know what kind to choose. When buying many things, they need to understand what kind is good and what kind is suitable for them, so as not to waste money. So it is very useful to have more knowledge.
