What's wrong with red eyes

What is the reason for red eyes? In our daily life, if our eyes become red, we often experience or see that our eyes are red. This phenomenon occurs in different seasons and in different occupations. So, what exactly is going on with red eyes?

What exactly is going on with your eyes? This kind of acute allergic disease may sometimes be caused by an attack of ocular congestion and glaucoma. However, it is because of the obstruction of intraocular fluid circulation and increased intraocular pressure, which can cause congestion of blood vessels and lead to red eyes.

Eye infections, such as acute conjunctivitis, are common. In addition to redness of the eyes, there is also discharge. Vision is generally not affected, or vision may be slightly blurred. If inflammation occurs in the cornea, iris, ciliary body or intraocular tissue, redness of the eyes may occur suddenly, accompanied by irritation symptoms such as photophobia and tearing, and vision may also be affected. In addition, inflammation of the eyelid skin near the eyeball, styes (commonly known as stye) or orbital infection can all cause red eyes.

Pterygium is a triangular fleshy tissue that grows on the white of the eyeball (sclera). Because it has many blood vessels, when it grows rapidly, it can make the eyeball appear red. If red eyes occur, the cause should be found and treated accordingly.

What is the reason for red eyes? It is most likely due to heart failure, orbital tumor, or intracranial cavernous sinus thrombosis and other systemic or local circulation blockages. Red eyes will occur, so it can only be cured by active treatment.
