Bacterial infection fever

Bacterial infection fever

From March to April every year, the south of my country enters the plum rain season. At this time, our weather is relatively humid and the temperature is relatively warm. This is the season when bacteria and microorganisms multiply in large numbers. Due to the rapid production of these pathogenic microorganisms, if we do not pay attention to taking care of our bodies at this time, such as wearing undried clothes, not adding clothes in time when the temperature drops, etc., it is easy to cause bacterial infection.

What is bacterial infection? Bacterial infection is when pathogenic microorganisms that can cause disease enter our body through certain pathways, causing discomfort in our body. The symptoms we experience are mostly fever, cough, etc. Below, we will roughly understand what we should pay attention to when bacterial infection causes fever.

Upper respiratory tract infection is the most common bacterial cold disease, which generally presents symptoms such as fever, sneezing, chills, cough, headache, etc. In fact, we need to pay special attention to the fever. If the fever is not high, below 39 degrees Celsius, it can be dealt with at home. Get more sleep, drink more water, take some cold medicine, and you will be fine after a few days of rest. Don't be too nervous. If the fever is above 39 degrees Celsius, pneumonia should be suspected. If the severe cough and high fever persist, and in severe cases convulsions may occur, the patient should be sent to the hospital for treatment immediately.

Many people think that pneumonia is caused by fever. This view is incorrect and the cause and effect are reversed. The most worthy of attention is the fever caused by bacterial dysentery. The fever is very high. Once coma occurs, it may be a manifestation of bacteriotoxicity. The patient should be sent to the hospital for emergency treatment in time, otherwise his life will be in danger.

To deal with fever, most families currently use two methods: one is to take antipyretic drugs, and the other is to take external cooling measures. In fact, neither of these two methods is worth recommending. Fever is an immune response of the human body to fight against germs, and germs are easily killed at relatively high temperatures. Many people have "fever phobia", which protects the body, but they are often afraid of developing problems due to fever, so they take antipyretics from time to time. As a result, even if the temperature drops temporarily, it will rise again after a while. The correct approach is to supplement the patient with certain nutrients and sufficient water in time. If you really need to take antipyretics, you must strictly follow the doctor's prescription.

The above are what we need to pay attention to when bacterial infection causes symptoms such as fever. Of course, if we pay attention to the combination of work and rest, pay attention to changes in weather and temperature and put on and take off clothes in time, eat healthily, pay more attention to rest, I believe that bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms will generally find it difficult to invade our bodies.
