How to use an electric water heater

Many people are always curious about everything and always want to find out the truth. Now with the improvement of people's living standards, the use of electric water heaters has become more popular, and almost every household has one. But if you are just starting to use electric water heaters, do you know how to operate them specifically?

In fact, electric water heaters can also be very dangerous household appliances. Improper use can lead to explosions, but there will be no problem as long as the correct method is used. Especially for those who have never used it, blindly using it will bring danger to yourself, but it doesn’t matter, today I will teach you some specific methods of use.

When using an electric water heater, turn on the power and the indicator light will light up, indicating that electric heating is in progress. When the water temperature reaches the set value, the indicator light will go out, indicating that the power is cut off. The indicator light turns on and off to indicate that the temperature is being kept warm automatically.

The electric water heater (storage type) must be filled with water first, then powered on for heating, and can be used after preheating. If the water pressure drops or the water supply is suddenly cut off, it is best to turn off the power. Electric water heaters are equipped with faucets with return installation, usually with "blue" for cold water and "red" for hot water. When in use, turn on the "red" faucet and hot water will flow out. If the water temperature is too high at this time, you can turn on the "blue" faucet at the same time and adjust the water flow to get hot water of appropriate temperature.

There are water temperature markings on the temperature regulator of the electric water heater, such as "I", "Ⅱ", "Ⅲ" or English and Arabic numerals to indicate low, medium and high water temperature adjustment positions. When you point the temperature adjustment knob to a certain mark, the water temperature of the water heater will remain at the temperature set by that gear. When using it, let the water splash out first to test the actual water temperature before stopping the shower to avoid excessive water temperature and scalding the skin.

When filling the tank with water, the water outlet must be opened, and the air in the tank must be completely discharged before checking whether the water is full. After eliminating the problem, the power supply must be cut off first. When used as a blocking device, the water inlet valve must be open during heating. When you first open the valve, do not direct the water toward your body.

After reading the above explanation, do you find that the use of electric water heaters is so simple? But even so, we must not be careless and fail to follow the instructions because we think it looks very simple now, otherwise you will be the only one who gets hurt. I believe the above description will be helpful to you.
