How to maintain leather clothes

1. When the leather jacket has been worn for a year and is still relatively new, you can wipe it clean with a semi-wet towel, blow it dry in the wind (avoid exposure to strong sunlight), then store it in the shade to dry, apply special leather care oil on the leather surface for 3-4 hours, then wipe it clean with a soft cloth, blow it dry in the wind, and store it in a cabinet (keep it dry, not wet) for storage. You can take it out and blow it when the time comes, but avoid moisture.

2. When you take out the leather jacket to wear in the second year, you can wipe it with a warm, damp soft cloth, blow dry it, apply leather care oil on it, and then iron it with a 300W electric iron with a white cloth. The leather jacket can remain in its original state.

3. Don’t be afraid if mold appears, just wipe it dry with warm water. This is mainly because the anti-mildew effect of the leather gradually disappears during kneading or due to the humid weather, and will not have a big impact on the leather.

4. After three to five years, if the leather jacket begins to look old or the main parts fade or become fuzzy due to friction, you can send it to a professional leather dry cleaner for decontamination, polishing, and maintenance.
