Classification of hemorrhoids

Classification of hemorrhoids

In our daily life, it is actually quite common for people to get hemorrhoids. One reason is that people are not very clear about how many types of hemorrhoids there are. The most important thing is that this type of hemorrhoids is more troublesome and difficult to deal with. Therefore, everyone should pay more attention to some hygiene issues in daily life. This type of hemorrhoids will actually have a certain impact on life.

This type of hemorrhoids may be a little ugly, but this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is how to deal with it. But first we need to understand how many different types of hemorrhoids there are. Here is some information about hemorrhoids.

Internal hemorrhoids: Internal hemorrhoids are located above the dentate line and are covered with mucosa. Internal hemorrhoids can be divided into 4 stages according to their severity.

1. Generally there are no obvious symptoms, except that there is a little blood during defecation.

2. Hemorrhoids may protrude from the anus during defecation, and then naturally return to the anus after defecation. There is severe blood in the stool during bowel movements, with blood dripping or spurting out of the anus.

3. The main reason is that hemorrhoids have prolapsed and cannot recover on their own, and need to be reinserted manually or after rest.

4. Because the prolapsed hemorrhoids cannot be reduced in time for a long time, they cause congestion, edema, necrosis and infection.

External hemorrhoids : External hemorrhoids are located below the dentate line and are covered with skin. They can be divided into four types according to their pathological characteristics.

1. Inflammatory external hemorrhoids: Due to damage to the skin around the anus, secretions stimulate the skin around the anus and cause inflammation. The anal skin becomes swollen, red, painful, and itchy, especially during bowel movements.

2. Varicose external hemorrhoids: They are formed by the varicose veins of the external hemorrhoidal plexus. They have no obvious characteristics, but often cause a slight feeling of anal falling, and the anus becomes wet and uncomfortable.

3. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids: Mainly due to straining during bowel movements, strenuous exercise, forceful coughing, etc., which lead to inflammation and damage of the endothelium of the hemorrhoidal veins. Blood accumulates in the blood vessels and forms lumps, which appear as a round or oval swelling protruding from the anal margin. The pain is severe, and is particularly obvious during bowel movements and activities, and may even affect walking. The swelling is dark purple and hard to the touch.

4. Connective tissue external hemorrhoids: These hemorrhoids are caused by the proliferation of connective tissue in the skin around the anus. The hemorrhoids have fewer blood vessels and are yellowish brown or dark brown in color. They are prominent and visible, and come in varying sizes. The patient will have a foreign body sensation in the anus, which is difficult to clean after defecation.

3 Mixed hemorrhoids: Spanning above and below the dental line, internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids communicate with each other in the same position, forming a whole, with the characteristics of internal and external hemorrhoids.

Through the above understanding and introduction, I believe everyone has a more detailed understanding of the classification of this type of hemorrhoids. At the same time, I hope everyone can treat this type of hemorrhoids correctly. At the same time, don’t eat too much irritating food in your daily life. You should also do more exercise to speed up the metabolism and it is best to eat some bland food.
