The kidney is an important organ in the human body and part of the urinary system. Its main function is to produce urine for excretion from the body. Everyone has two kidneys. Once a problem occurs, it will cause a lot of inconvenience to the patient's health and life. There are many causes of kidney disease, the most common of which are pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and even colds can aggravate kidney disease. Uric acid nephropathy can be divided into chronic and acute types, and requires symptomatic treatment. Uric acid nephropathy is kidney damage caused by hyperuricemia due to excessive production of uric acid in the blood or reduced excretion, commonly known as gouty nephropathy. Clinical manifestations may include uric acid stones, small molecule proteinuria, edema, nocturia, hypertension, increased uric acid in the blood and urine, and renal tubular function damage. This disease is common in Western countries and more common in the north of China. It has no obvious seasonality and has a high incidence rate in people who are obese, like meat eating, and are alcoholics. The male to female ratio is 9:1, and 85% are middle-aged and elderly people. If the disease is diagnosed early and treated appropriately (controlling hyperuricemia and protecting renal function), kidney disease can be alleviated or stopped from developing. If treatment is delayed or improperly treated, the condition can worsen and develop into end-stage renal failure requiring dialysis. Chronic hyperuricemia: more common in middle-aged and older men. It is often accompanied by gouty arthritis or tophi; the early manifestations of renal damage are mild proteinuria, a small amount of red blood cells and decreased urine concentration function; in the later stage, there are hypertension, decreased renal function, and a few lead to uremia. Renal activity showed radial needle-shaped uric acid crystals in the medulla and chronic inflammatory changes in the renal interstitium. Acute uric acid nephropathy: acute onset, more common in myeloproliferative diseases and after radiotherapy and chemotherapy of malignant tumors. Clinical manifestations include oliguria or even anuria, and a rapid deterioration of renal function (i.e. acute renal failure). Large amounts of uric acid crystals and red blood cells can be seen in the urine. If not treated promptly, the condition will continue to worsen and the patient will eventually die of renal failure. Whether it is acute uric acid nephropathy or chronic uric acid nephropathy, it must be treated as early as possible and seize the time for treatment. If you cannot get sick, patients should pay attention to not overwork in their daily lives, not eat too much salt, and not use drugs indiscriminately. There are many examples of kidney disease caused by indiscriminate use of drugs, especially many people are not used to seeing a doctor when they are sick in daily life, and always take medicine indiscriminately, which can easily lead to kidney disease. If you are sick, you must seek treatment as soon as possible. |
