The role of cooling oil

The role of cooling oil

Cooling oil is present in our families because it is a must-have medicine in the home. Sometimes we see some people suffering from dizziness or heatstroke, and some people use this cooling oil to rub on the patient's temples, which can relieve dizziness or heatstroke. In fact, the effects of cooling oil are not limited to these. The application range of cooling oil is relatively wide, and it is an essential medicine for people.

Cooling oil can also help people repel insects and mosquitoes. If you need to go hiking, bring this cooling oil with you and mosquitoes will not easily approach you, because the camphor smell in the cooling oil is the nemesis of mosquitoes. Please read on to know more functions.

Cooling oil, also known as Tiger Balm, contains ingredients such as camphor, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil and cinnamon. The inventor of it was Hu Wenhu from Fujian. In the early years of the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Hu Wenhu opened a medicine shop with his father in Yangon, Myanmar. Because Myanmar is located in Southeast Asia and has a tropical monsoon climate with hot weather, abundant rain, and numerous mosquitoes, flies, insects and ants, Hu Wenhu began to study Chinese herbal medicine and absorbed folk herbal formulas from Southeast Asian countries to create "Tiger Balm". When people encounter mosquito bites, itchy skin or mild burns, applying Tiger Balm to the affected area can promote blood circulation, reduce swelling, relieve pain and itching; in addition, when people have a cold or a headache, applying Tiger Balm to the forehead and temples will have a cooling and relieving effect.

If paint accidentally gets on your skin, and if there is no gasoline, alcohol or other solvents around to clean it, you can apply a little cooling oil, wait 2 minutes, and then gently wipe it with clean cotton. It will be easy to wash off. If the paint has dried, apply cooling oil for 3 minutes and the paint on the skin will automatically roll up and can be torn off with your fingers. The smell of cooling oil has a strong mosquito repellent effect. If you place opened boxes of cooling oil in dark corners of the room, mosquitoes will not dare to enter the room throughout the summer.

Patients with corns can apply cooling oil on their corns several times a day, and then smoke them with a lit cigarette to allow the cooling oil to penetrate into the corns. After a period of treatment, the corns will fall off automatically.

When your skin is itchy, you can apply some cooling oil on the itchy area to relieve the itching immediately.

For small-area burns or scalds, immediate application will not cause any future problems. Hot oil, boiling water, cigarette butts, etc. in the kitchen are all sources of injury, especially burns from motorcycle exhaust pipes, which are difficult to heal over time. The characteristic of burns is generally that there are no blisters except redness of the skin at the time, but blisters and injuries will appear afterwards. The biggest advantage of applying cooling oil is that you cannot see the blisters or wounds from beginning to end, so there will be no pain afterwards. The prerequisite is that you must have cooling oil at home and around you.

The above is an introduction to the effects of cooling oil. I hope you can learn more about the effects of cooling oil after reading it. However, one thing everyone should pay attention to is that babies cannot use this cooling oil because there is some irritation in the cooling oil and babies' skin is too tender to be affected by it.
