Surgical staging laparotomy should include:

① Splenectomy, including splenic hilar regional lymph nodes, and understanding of splenic involvement;

② Biopsy of enlarged abdominal lymph nodes, including biopsy of suspicious lymph nodes beside the aorta and celiac artery;

③Liver marginal biopsy.

For lymphoma patients who use radiotherapy as the main treatment, sufficient radical radiotherapy must be carried out first for the range of the lesion, and then preventive radiotherapy must be carried out for the lymphatic area near the lesion. The design of radiotherapy must be guided by clinical radiation physics. First, the radiation source is selected, and then the radiotherapy target area and nearby normal tissues are determined: the tumor is irradiated with the maximum dose and uniformly, and the normal tissue is irradiated with the lowest dose. Generally, a simulation positioning machine can be used to determine the location and distribution of the irradiation field. Clinical radiation biology is also indispensable for guiding radiotherapy. It mainly studies the mechanism of action of radiation on tumors and normal tissues, and explores ways to increase the radiosensitivity of tumors and reduce damage to normal tissues.

Lymphoma is highly heterogeneous, so the treatment of lymphoma is also very complicated. The treatments of lymphoma include radiotherapy, chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, surgical treatment, prognostic treatment, etc. Surgical treatment is mostly used to deal with complications, bone marrow transplantation is mostly used for high-risk patients, and the treatment of lymphoma mostly uses combined chemotherapy.
