How to protect your eyes and not let your eyesight affect your life and work

The eyes are the windows to the soul. Beautiful eyes are not only related to people's appearance, but also to people's health. As many people age, their eyes' water retention effect is relatively poor, and many problems emerge one after another. Therefore, in order to avoid eye damage, we must pay attention to protective measures , otherwise if there is a problem with the eyes, it will be a big deal.

Do you know how to protect your eyes in daily life? In fact, it is very simple. We just need to take some time out of work and develop a good habit of blinking more than ten times a minute. This will give our eyes better rest conditions. We can get up and look out the window every one to two hours and take in the distant scenery. On the one hand, it can relieve eye pressure, and on the other hand, it can calm our mood. Keep the office ventilated and humid. In air-conditioned offices, be careful not to set the temperature too high or too low. If conditions permit, place a humidifier to increase the air humidity. Drink plenty of water every day to enhance your metabolism.

After using your eyes for a period of time, you can take a break and do some eye exercises. By self-massaging the acupoints and skin muscles around the eyes, you can increase blood circulation in the eye sockets and eliminate excessive congestion in the eyeballs. Applying a hot towel to your eyes for 10 minutes can improve eye discomfort symptoms. Hot compress can promote blood circulation in the eyes, help restore the function of the meibomian glands, and improve the symptoms of dry eyes caused by meibomian gland dysfunction.

A healthy and reasonable diet is also very effective in preventing some eye diseases and relieving eye fatigue, especially foods rich in vitamins. If you lack vitamin B1, your eyes will feel dry and burning, and your vision will be impaired; if you lack B2, you may easily experience eye fatigue, itchy eyelids, conjunctivitis, etc.; if you lack vitamin D, your eyeballs will protrude, and you may also cause hypocalcemic cataracts; if you lack vitamin A, you will cause dry eyes, night blindness, etc., and in severe cases, it can lead to blindness.

If there is a problem with the eyes, not only the health is affected, but also the quality of life and work conditions of people. In many cases, it will even cause people to lose their jobs and affect their marriage. Therefore, we must pay more attention to the protection of people's eyes.
