How much does it cost to treat nasopharyngeal cancer and what methods are used

Suffering from nasopharyngeal cancer will have a certain impact on the patient's daily life. Here is an introduction to how much it costs to treat nasopharyngeal cancer and what methods are used?

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in the nasopharyngeal mucosa. Pain and other symptoms caused by bone metastasis of cancer make patients more miserable. The most common sites of nasopharyngeal carcinoma bone metastasis are the spine, pelvis and ribs, followed by the scapula, humerus, femur, skull, etc. Most cases are multiple bone metastases throughout the body, and single metastasis is rare.

The treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma includes radiotherapy, surgical treatment, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, etc. Radiotherapy is recognized as the first choice of treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The vast majority of nasopharyngeal carcinomas are poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinomas, which are highly sensitive to radiotherapy. Radical radiotherapy can be used for early and middle-stage cases, and palliative radiotherapy can be appropriately combined with advanced cases. Chemotherapy has a certain short-term effect on nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Patients in the middle and late stages often use radiotherapy and chemotherapy in combination, such as neoadjuvant chemotherapy, simultaneous radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and adjuvant chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is the main treatment for advanced cases with distant metastasis. Commonly used chemotherapy regimens include PF and CF5-FUDDP, with an effective rate of about 90%. Others include PFB, PMB, PFA, CBF, CAB and other regimens. Surgical treatment is only suitable for cases that are highly differentiated and insensitive to radiotherapy and have residual or recurrent cases after radiotherapy.

Nasopharyngeal cancer patients should be careful not to eat spicy food. Do not add spicy food such as chili peppers, ginger, pepper, ginger, raw garlic, etc. when cooking. Spicy food can easily cause blood heat to run wild. Some cancer patients' conditions are always out of control. The reason is that the food they eat at home, in restaurants, and on the street all contain spicy food. Do not use these spicy foods to enhance the flavor, but use old soup.
