Symptoms of melanoma skin cancer

Symptoms of melanoma skin cancer:

UV rays cause skin cancer by damaging the DNA of skin cells. This damage is caused by free radicals, which are super-reactive molecules found under UV rays. Free radicals damage the DNA double helix and change the way cells replicate and naturally die, which is the process by which cancer develops. In addition to sunlight, free radicals are found in environmental pollutants, smoke, alcohol, and other toxins.

Symptoms of melanoma skin cancer include:

1. Local skin color changes.

Due to regional and ethnic differences, our own skin color is not dark or light. But in any case, if part of your skin changes color and becomes red, blue, and brown, or the color of an existing mole changes, this may be an early symptom of skin cancer. Most skin cancers have uneven colors, red, white, blue or brown, and black, and their edges are often jagged, so you should be particularly vigilant. This is because it may be caused by tumor spread or spontaneous degeneration.

2. There are eczema-like changes on the skin.

If you have raised areas of skin that look like eczema, and the rash is red or bleeding, it is difficult to cure it no matter how much ointment you apply to treat eczema, so it is necessary to do a test to see if it is a lesion of skin cancer.

3. Skin ulcers.

Since skin cancer develops quite quickly, warts can also quickly form a large number of ulcers. If you have skin ulcers that cannot be cured, get better or worse, or bleed a little; or if you have bleeding, ulcers, or asymmetric protrusions on your face, ears, back, or forearms, you need to go to the hospital for a checkup to eliminate the possibility of cancer. Ulcers or nodules on skin that has been exposed to the sun in the past or old scars, red skin scars that have not subsided for a long time, or even slight erosions, you should also be alert to the possibility of skin cancer.
