Treatment of portal vein tumor thrombus in liver cancer

Treatment of portal vein tumor thrombus in liver cancer

What is NKT lymphoma? What are its symptoms?

1. Liver cancer, if accompanied by portal vein tumor thrombosis, is considered to be mid-to-late stage liver cancer. If the cancer has invaded the portal vein branches, the clinical symptoms will have little effect. If it has invaded the portal vein trunk, it may cause portal hypertension and accelerate the systemic spread of the tumor.

2. When portal vein tumor thrombosis occurs, it will affect the blood supply to the liver, aggravate portal hypertension, and easily cause the spread of liver cancer swelling. If not treated in time, the patient's survival period generally does not exceed three months.

3. The onset of liver cancer is more secretive. The early symptoms are often not obvious and are easily ignored by patients. Until the typical symptoms appear, it is often in the middle or late stages.

What are the early symptoms of liver cancer?

The incidence of liver cancer in the early stage is relatively hidden. Many patients have no obvious symptoms. When patients show obvious symptoms, it is often in the late stage. Generally speaking, the first symptom is most often pain in the liver area. There may also be abdominal lumps, weight loss, fever, diarrhea and other unexplained symptoms.

When the tumor invades and blocks the hepatic vein or inferior vena cava, progressive lower limb edema and even ascites, symptoms of Budd-Sydron syndrome, may occur. Patients with liver cancer often have no obvious clinical manifestations in the early stages.

How to relieve pain in advanced liver cancer?

If you want to relieve the pain symptoms of liver cancer patients, you can consider taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, such as diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules, ibuprofen, and loxoprofen sodium, which are commonly used in clinical practice.

For advanced liver cancer, it is best to pay attention to physical conditioning, usually do not be too anxious, rest more, try to ensure adequate sleep, and generally take medication to relieve pain, promote sleep, and relieve symptoms. Generally speaking, the malignancy of liver cancer is relatively high.
