How to measure chest circumference

When buying underwear, we need to test our chest circumference first. Only with the chest circumference standard can we buy suitable underwear. It is best to go to a underwear store to try it yourself. Wearing suitable underwear will make our chest lines look better, and the chest lines will look particularly perfect, not uneven or unable to support the size of the underwear. This is the most correct way to test chest circumference.

Measurement method

1. Take off your clothes first, stand relaxedly (but straight), put your feet together, face forward, and slightly raise your chin.

2. Wrap the tape measure horizontally around the chest circumference (protruding point) and gradually tighten it. When measuring, lift your breasts gently with your hands, as if you were wearing a bra. At this time, you can easily measure your actual chest circumference and underbust; the chest line (the line at the bottom of the breast) can also be easily measured.

3. Chest size (usually called "upper bust"): Take the BP point (bust point) as the measuring point, and use a soft tape measure to horizontally measure around the fullest part of the chest. This is the chest size.

4. Under bust size: Use a soft tape measure to measure horizontally around the bottom of the chest, which is the under bust size.

① Upper bust:

Hold the tape measure in your right hand, gesture with your left hand, use the back of your hand to lift your breasts to the ideal position, and then measure your body.

◇ Conversation: "I want to measure in the ideal position. Please raise your head a little." You should look in the mirror while making the customer understand what you mean.

◇ Key points: Be careful not to squeeze the nipples and be gentle when measuring.

② Under bust:

Hold a light ruler in your right hand and make gestures with your left hand. Make a bowl shape with your hands, lift your breasts to the ideal position, and then measure your body.

◇ Conversation: "I will measure in the ideal position. Please hold your breasts with both hands and lift them to the appropriate position."

◇ Key points: The measured data will become the basis for determining the product size and must be accurate.

Three major precautions

The calculated cup size is not necessarily the size you should buy in the end. There are three possibilities:

1) Too much fat: Choose a larger cup size. (For example, if the difference is C, D is usually selected)

2) The calculated difference is vague: you should try to choose a larger cup size so that your breasts have room to grow. (For example, if the difference is 15 and between C and D, D is usually chosen)

3) The shape of the breast is as flat as a plate of loose sand: the smaller the measured difference, the larger the cup size selected. (For example, when the lost fat is gathered and shaped according to the scientific wearing method, if the difference is a B cup, then the selected cup is a C cup)[1]
