Early symptoms of ovarian cancer

Early symptoms of ovarian cancer

There are no obvious symptoms in the early stages of ovarian cancer, but some patients may experience menstrual disorders, abdominal distension and pain, abdominal masses, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and systemic symptoms.

1. Asymptomatic: Some ovarian cancer patients have no obvious symptoms in the early stages and will only be discovered during physical examinations.

2. Symptoms

1. Menstrual disorders: Ovarian cancer may cause disorders in the secretion of sex hormones in the body, leading to menstrual disorders, manifested as irregular menstruation, scanty menstruation or amenorrhea.

2. Abdominal distension and pain: The tumor will gradually grow larger in the pelvic cavity, thereby pulling on the surrounding tissues, causing symptoms such as abdominal distension and pain.

3. Abdominal mass: As the size of the ovarian tumor increases, the patient may feel a mass in the abdomen, which is usually solid or cystic, with an irregular surface and poor mobility.

4. Abnormal vaginal bleeding: Patients may experience abnormal vaginal bleeding, including changes in the menstrual cycle, such as shortened menstrual period, prolonged menstrual period, and prolonged menstruation.

5. Systemic symptoms: Patients may experience general discomfort symptoms such as weight loss and fatigue.

These symptoms are not specific to ovarian cancer and may also be related to other diseases. If these symptoms occur, you should seek medical attention in a timely manner and undergo relevant examinations to confirm the diagnosis.

Note:

Women should have regular physical examinations to detect and treat ovarian cancer early. They should maintain good living habits, get enough sleep, and avoid staying up late. They should also have a balanced diet and avoid being picky or partial to certain foods.
