The harm of being drunk to the body

In our lives, many people prefer to drink, but alcohol is very harmful to the human body. Many people are prone to delay after drinking, and because alcohol paralyzes the nerves, they are prone to do things without considering the consequences. After being drunk, the most damaged parts are our stomach and nerves, so drinking too much is very harmful to the body. So what are the harms of drinking to the body?

When people are happy, they are in high spirits. Why not have a drink?

Bars are like battlefields. Every gathering is a contest of drinking. Success or failure is related to fame and status. Especially in the summer, drinking is inevitable at street barbecues. What is wine? The main component of wine is alcohol, whose real name is ethanol. Alcohol can have paralyzing and destructive effects when it enters the human body, so drinking too much is not recommended.

So, what are the harmful effects of drinking alcohol on the body?

1. Damage to the liver

The liver is the main organ for metabolizing alcohol. Most of the alcohol in the body is eliminated through the liver, and a small portion goes directly into the kidneys. Its metabolites and the metabolic disorders of liver cells caused by them are the main causes of alcoholic liver damage. According to research, if a normal person drinks 40-80 grams of alcohol per day on average, alcoholic liver disease will occur in 10 years. If they drink 160 grams per day on average, cirrhosis will occur in about 10 years!

2. Pathogenicity

Some people will vomit blood after drinking a lot of alcohol. This is because they drink too much and the stomach cannot bear it, causing gastric bleeding. For example, stomach problems and chronic gastritis are almost always caused by alcohol.

3. Impact on sperm

Long-term drinking is also one of the causes of male infertility. Long-term drinkers are prone to chronic alcohol poisoning. In severe cases, patients may suffer from testicular atrophy, leading to decreased semen quality and even vaginal shrinkage.

Studies have found that it takes at least three months of recovery to recover from a drunken state. Experts point out that men who want to have children should wait three months after stopping drinking before conceiving, so that the fetus can be healthy. It should be said that moderate drinking does not affect the quality of sperm, but excessive drinking will affect sperm activity. Because the main component of alcohol is ethanol, which has an anesthetic effect, it can quickly enter the various tissues and cells of the human body through blood circulation, thus affecting the quality of sperm. If the woman becomes pregnant on that day, there is a very high possibility of giving birth to a deformed baby, which will have irreversible impact on future generations.

4. Causes high blood lipids

Long-term drinking can make the human body dependent on alcohol and form an addiction. Alcohol can directly stimulate the stomach and intestines, leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction, affecting the gastrointestinal absorption of nutrients such as carbohydrates, but accelerating the absorption of fat, increasing the triglyceride level in the serum and causing hyperlipidemia.
