How long can a patient with advanced gastric cancer and incontinence live?

1. There is no clear data on how long patients with advanced gastric cancer and urinary incontinence can live. The average survival of most patients is several months to 2 years. Advanced gastric cancer refers to advanced gastric cancer IV. At this stage, the patient's urinary incontinence indicates that cancer cells have metastasized from a distant place, most likely due to blood circulation invading the rectum, bladder, spinal cord or brain tissue, ultimately leading to neurological dysfunction and urinary incontinence.

2. At this stage, most people cannot receive surgical treatment and can only receive palliative treatment through chemotherapy, radiotherapy or targeted drug therapy. However, due to the poor immune function of the body at this time, most patients cannot withstand continuous chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the overall treatment effect is not ideal, and the survival period is short. However, the specific survival period cannot be generalized due to different pathological types, ages and autoimmunity of gastric cancer. Most gastric cancer IV patients have a survival period of only a few months to 2 years, and even worsen their condition, organ failure or death in just 1 to 2 months.

3. It should be emphasized that although clinical treatment of gastric cancer IV is difficult to achieve, scientific treatment can prolong the patient's life and improve the quality of life. It is recommended to actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment and strengthen the patient's life care. For example, maintain an optimistic and cheerful attitude, carry out appropriate activities under the premise of physical permission, family members give more care and comfort, and reasonably match three meals.
