What disease causes brain cancer

There are many causes of brain tumors, which may be caused by the metastasis of other cancers and the formation of brain metastases; the patients of brain tumors are not very clear.

Can I speak after surgery for a malignant brain tumor?

For malignant tumors in the brain, whether the patient can speak after surgery is related to the preoperative symptoms. If the tumor is large and causes aphasia, there may be some recovery after surgery, but the recovery will be slow and will not affect language function in most cases. Malignant tumors in the brain include gliomas, malignant meningiomas, germ cell tumors, and intracranial metastatic tumors. In the late stage, they often cause severe increased intracranial pressure, leading to symptoms such as impaired consciousness or even coma, which can cause aphasia. Tumors include benign tumors in the brain.

Brain tumor cured?

Intracranial tumors include gliomas and malignant meningiomas. If they can be detected and treated early, low-grade gliomas and malignant meningiomas can be cured by complete surgical resection. High-grade gliomas or malignant tumors that cannot be completely removed often recur after surgery and need to be treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other methods, but most have a poor prognosis. Generally speaking, whether it is primary brain cancer or secondary brain cancer, even if surgical resection is performed and active and effective radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy are taken after surgery, there is still a risk of tumor recurrence. Brain tumors are divided into benign tumors and malignant tumors.
