For patients with metastatic disease who have not undergone chemotherapy and are symptomatic but in poor physical condition, abiraterone combined with prednisone is recommended. If unable or unwilling to accept, ketoconazole combined with corticosteroids or radionuclide can be used. If there is a choice, docetaxel or mitoline chemotherapy can be used, and immunotherapy is not recommended.

Resistant prostate cancer is mainly treated with drug chemotherapy. Generally speaking, abiraterone, enzalutamide and docetaxel chemotherapy can be used. You can also choose cabazitaxel and docetaxel chemotherapy, and then continue chemotherapy with abiraterone, as well as radionuclide therapy, etc. The downward trend is to reduce the level of androgen in the body, which is the term for endocrine therapy of prostate cancer.

Treatments for prostate hyperplasia

If prostatic hyperplasia causes repeated urinary tract infections, repeated macroscopic hematuria, bladder stone formation, or causes hydronephrosis, and the patient is suitable for surgery, surgical treatment may be chosen, with urethral electroevaporative resection of the prostate or urethral laser resection of the prostate being the preferred options.

The main cause of prostate hyperplasia is excessive proliferation of the prostate gland, which leads to incomplete obstruction of the urethral discharge channel, increased contraction pressure of the bladder and urethra, and relatively large resistance during urination. If drug treatment is not effective, we can consider surgical treatment. Endoscopic minimally invasive surgery is mainly used for prostate hyperplasia and has a more accurate effect.
