When treating acne or acne scars, or improving various skin problems, people generally choose some medical beauty methods with better effects. Microneedle and fractional laser are two common methods that can be used to relieve skin problems. Both microneedles and fractional lasers can treat various skin problems such as wrinkles, acne pits, acne scars, etc. For minor skin problems such as minor acne scars, fractional laser and microneedle can have a good therapeutic effect. For severe acne scars, we can consider using ablative fractional laser or microneedle treatment, but relatively speaking, microneedle treatment is less harmful than ablative fractional laser and recovers faster.

The fractional laser method can only be used after the patient has completely stopped having acne. There are two main types: ablative fractional laser and non-ablative fractional laser. Patients usually need to undergo multiple treatments to achieve good results, generally requiring fractional laser treatment once a month or once a month.

After applying the epidermal anesthetic, the non-ablative fractional laser treatment will not feel particularly painful, but this type of fractional laser can only effectively solve minor skin problems such as enlarged pores, acne scars and flat warts. When performing ablative fractional laser treatment, you will still feel a lot of pain even after applying epidermal anesthetic. This surgical method is suitable for mild acne scars, but it will cause relatively large damage to the skin and it will take more than a month to recover.

Microneedling is suitable for a variety of skin problems. This method can stimulate the dermis to regenerate collagen, allowing the damaged epidermis to regrow. Compared with fractional laser, microneedle treatment is more suitable for sunken skin problems because it fills the pits on the original basis. Moreover, the recovery time of microneedle treatment is relatively short. Usually, the redness of the skin will disappear in just three days, and normal skin care can be resumed in just five days.
