Drinking soft drinks frequently may lead to prostate cancer. 5 tips to help you get rid of prostate cancer

A 15-year study by researchers at Lund University in Sweden showed that men who drink 300 ml of soft drinks a day have a 40% increased risk of prostate cancer.

The researchers took more than 8,000 healthy men aged 45 to 73 as research subjects, asking them to undergo regular physical examinations and record their daily diet. After an average of 15 years, the researchers compared the dietary habits of prostate cancer patients and healthy people in the research subjects and found that there was a clear correlation between drinking soft drinks or other sugary drinks and prostate cancer. Men who drink a lot of soft drinks or other sugary drinks have an increased risk of prostate cancer of about 40%.

What are soft drinks?

Soft drinks refer to natural or artificially prepared beverages with an alcohol content of less than 0.5%, usually including carbonated drinks, fruit juice drinks, tea drinks, etc. Sugar-free drinks, tea and sweetened coffee are not included. Juice is not associated with prostate cancer.

How to prevent prostate cancer

1. Exercise more

Strengthen physical exercise to improve local blood circulation and enhance the body's immunity against disease and cancer.

2. Live a regular life and pay attention to personal hygiene

Pay attention to living in moderation, control sexual desire, and have sex in moderation to avoid prostate hyperplasia and hypertrophy. At the same time, pay attention to personal hygiene, wash your external genitalia regularly, and your spouse should also pay attention to genital hygiene to prevent bacteria hidden in the external genitals from entering the male urethra, invading the prostate, and causing prostate cancer.

3. Eat in moderation and quit smoking and drinking

Tobacco and alcohol are important risk factors for prostate cancer. To prevent prostate cancer, you must quit smoking and drinking. At the same time, you must pay attention to a reasonable diet, eat less spicy and irritating foods, and reduce the intake of unsaturated fatty acids. Constipation may aggravate the symptoms of prostate swelling. You should eat more vegetables and fruits, eat some coarse grains, keep your bowels open, and reduce the occurrence of constipation.

4. Prevent and treat urinary tract infections

Preventing urinary tract infections and reducing the occurrence of benign diseases such as prostate hyperplasia are effective measures to prevent prostate cancer. Drink more water and urinate more. Frequent flushing of the urethra with urine helps discharge secretions of prostate cancer to prevent infection.

5. Regular inspection

Regular check-ups are the key to early detection of prostate cancer. Men over 50 years old should undergo regular rectal digital examinations for cancer prevention screenings.

5 types of men need to prevent prostate cancer

1. Obese men

The study found that obese men have twice the risk of developing prostate cancer compared to men of normal weight. Losing weight will likely reduce the risk of prostate cancer, which is common in developed countries and has led to a rise in the incidence of prostate cancer in men.

2. Sexual disorder and promiscuity

A British survey found that men who have chaotic and promiscuous sex lives when they are young are more likely to develop prostate cancer in the future.

3. Bald men

Bald men are twice as likely to develop prostate cancer as non-bald men. Studies have found that hair loss may be related to testosterone levels, and the risk of prostate cancer in men is related to testosterone levels in the body. This can also explain the relationship between baldness and prostate cancer.

4. People with high secretion of male hormones

Prostate disease is closely related to living habits, behavior patterns, and diet, and diet and lifestyle can also lead to prostate cancer. In addition, frequent visual and sexual psychological stimulation promotes the secretion of male hormones, which is an important cause of prostate cancer.

5. Related to irregular day and night work shifts

According to a Japanese study, men who work day and night shifts are 3.5 times more likely to develop prostate cancer than men who work long-term day shifts; and there is almost no difference in the risk of developing prostate cancer between men who work long-term night shifts and men who work day shifts. Irregular day and night shifts disrupt the body's biological clock, causing a decrease in the secretion of melatonin, which has the effect of inhibiting the proliferation of prostate cancer cells, making men more susceptible to prostate cancer.
