Explain the symptoms of late-stage prostate cancer before death

Symptoms before death in late stage of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is a common disease. Its incidence and mortality rate are high in my country. Why is this the case? The main reason is that the early symptoms of prostate cancer are often not particularly obvious. As a result, many patients are already in the late stage when they are discovered, and even in a very serious state. Therefore, it is necessary for us to understand its symptoms in detail. The following will introduce the symptoms before death in late stage of prostate cancer.

First, let me give you some data distribution of prostate cancer

1. The incidence of prostate cancer increases with age. Half of those over 80 years old have cancerous lesions in their prostate, but the actual number of clinical cases is far lower than this number.

2. Prostate cancer is one of the main causes of cancer death in men in Europe and America. There are obvious regional and racial differences in the incidence of prostate cancer. According to statistics, the incidence rate of Chinese is very low, that of Europeans is very high, and that of Africa and Israel is in between. my country and Japan are low-incidence areas for prostate cancer, but the number of latent cancer lesions found in autopsy of prostate segment sections of men over 50 years old is similar to that in Europe and America. Therefore, some people believe that cancer grows more slowly in Orientals than in Westerners, and there are fewer clinical cases. In addition, prostate cancer is also related to the environment.

Symptoms of advanced prostate cancer

1. Obstruction symptoms: The symptoms of bladder neck obstruction in prostate cancer are almost the same as those in benign prostatic hyperplasia, which are manifested as slow urine flow, urgency, interrupted urine flow, incomplete urination, frequent urination, and in severe cases, dribbling urine and urine retention. There are two clinically significant points in the obstruction process: ① The disease progresses continuously, which is different from the slow progression of prostate hyperplasia; ② Hematuria is not common. It is worth noting that the earliest symptom of prostate cancer is not urethral obstruction, but local spread or bone metastasis. Only in the late stage, cancer tissue invades the glands around the urethra and causes obstruction symptoms.

2. Urinary disorders: 80% of patients experience progressive urination difficulties, thinning or deviated urine flow, bifurcated urine flow, prolonged urination, frequent urination, urgency, pain, and a feeling of incomplete urination due to cancer. In severe cases, urine dripping and urine retention occur. Only 3% of patients have hematuria.

3. Pain: Pain in the waist, sacrum, buttocks, hips, pelvis, and sciatica is common and severe and unbearable. It may be caused by cancer metastasis to the bones or invasion of nerves or hydronephrosis and kidney infection. About 31% of patients experience pain.

4. Metastasis symptoms: Metastasis is very common in prostate cancer patients. About 1/3 or even 2/3 of patients have lymph node metastasis when they first see a doctor, mostly in the iliac, iliac, waist, groin and other parts. It can cause lymph node enlargement and lower limb swelling in the corresponding parts. Hematogenous metastasis is more common in bones (such as pelvis, sacrum, lumbar spine, upper femur, etc.) and internal organs (such as lungs, liver, brain, adrenal glands, testicles, etc.).

Understand the symptoms of the disease, and do a good job of diet and care in daily life while treating the disease. Only by doing everything can you prolong your life. In addition, it is necessary to know more about the early symptoms, so that you can prevent the disease early and achieve early detection and early treatment.
