What factors are related to the incidence of prostate cancer?

Prostate cancer is a very common malignant tumor. This disease directly threatens the health of the majority of men, especially in Europe and the United States. The mortality rate of men caused by prostate cancer is quite high. Although the incidence rate in China is not as high as that in Europe and the United States, the number of people suffering from the disease is also increasing. So what exactly causes prostate cancer?

One of the factors causing prostate cancer: environment. Studies have shown that cadmium pollution in the external environment can increase the incidence of prostate cancer.

The second factor causing prostate cancer: age. The older a man is, the higher his chance of developing prostate cancer.

The third factor causing prostate cancer: diet. Eating a large amount of saturated fatty acids in your daily diet increases your chances of developing prostate cancer, as saturated fatty acids are triggers of prostate cancer.

The fourth factor causing prostate cancer: infection. Long-term, chronic bacterial or viral infection will greatly increase the chance of prostate cancer.

The fifth factor of prostate cancer is heredity. If a relative or friend has prostate cancer, the chance of getting prostate cancer is higher than that of the general population; in other words, about 9% of prostate cancer patients have a family history of the disease.

The sixth factor of prostate cancer: hormone levels in the body. The more male hormones a man secretes, the greater the chance of developing prostate cancer. For this reason, people who have been castrated or have testicular dysplasia will not get prostate cancer, but I believe no man is willing to pay this price to stay away from prostate cancer.

From the above introduction, we can see that there are many causes of prostate cancer, so men must develop regular eating and living habits in their lives, and do not live in places with serious environmental pollution for a long time. In addition, when men are diagnosed with prostatitis, they must be cured in time, otherwise the chance of inducing prostate cancer is very high.
