How to calculate early lung cancer? Introduction to the diagnosis method of early lung cancer

Lung cancer is the disease with the highest mortality rate in my country. The direct cause of its occurrence is smoking, and many people are aware of this cause. For this disease, it can only be controlled if it is discovered and treated in time, especially the relevant detection methods must be understood clearly. However, different detection methods are different, and the way and results of understanding early lung cancer are also different.

The diagnostic criteria for early lung cancer are pathological biopsy or postoperative pathological examination. About 92% of small lung cancer nodules are found to be benign, which means that only 8% of small lung cancer nodules may be malignant. Generally, the clinical diagnosis of early lung cancer must be confirmed by chest biopsy, thoracoscopic puncture or partial resection and pathological examination, so that the disease can be confirmed. Let's learn more about it below.

First, CT diagnosis plays an important role in the early screening of lung cancer and has a high detection rate for peripheral lung cancer. Through CT diagnosis and surgical pathology comparison, we can understand the biology, pathology and clinical symptoms of small peripheral tumors, but CT lacks specific signs for the qualitative diagnosis of lung diseases. Especially for soft tissue masses without calcification and fat components, this is one of the common diagnosis methods for early lung cancer.

Second, fiberoptic bronchoscopy is a common method for diagnosing early lung cancer. It is of great significance for the diagnosis of central lung cancer, but it is limited in the diagnosis of precancerous lesions and is difficult to identify with the naked eye. In addition, the scope of examination is limited to the bronchial mucosa adjacent to the lung segmental opening, and peripheral lung cancer cannot be detected.

Third, early lung cancer refers to primary lesions in the lungs. Generally, tumors smaller than 3 cm are T1, 3-5 cm are T2, 5-7 cm are T3, and larger than 7 cm are T4. In addition, the judgment of the tumor and surrounding tissues is also very important, such as whether the pleura is invaded. There are also clear regulations. N is the first letter of the regional lymph node, hilar lymph node metastasis is N1, ipsilateral mediastinal lymph node metastasis is N2, and contralateral mediastinal and supraclavicular lymph node metastasis is N3. M is the starting letter of distant metastasis, and M0 means no distant metastasis. Therefore, according to the test results, early lung cancer can be divided into stages I, II, III, and IV, with stage I being the earliest and stage IV being the latest.

Early diagnosis of lung cancer is of great significance, especially for long-term smokers. Therefore, it is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital for examination in time. After the disease is diagnosed, timely treatment can completely cure the disease. In addition, the diagnosis of early lung cancer is affected by many factors, and patients must pay attention to it, so as to ensure that the disease is under control.
