How to eat to prevent liver cancer? These four types of people are prone to liver cancer, so be careful

Liver cancer is the third most common malignant tumor with a mortality rate second only to gastric cancer and esophageal cancer. The incidence rate is increasing day by day, which has seriously threatened the lives of the public. There are about 700,000 new cases of liver cancer in the world every year, of which more than 350,000 cases are in China. China is a country with a high incidence of liver disease and liver cancer. Therefore, it is very important for us to prevent liver cancer.

How to eat to prevent liver cancer

1. Eat carrots and citrus:

The protective effect of vegetables and fruits on the liver is produced by the interaction between the vitamins, minerals, fibers, etc. in them. Green leafy vegetables, carrots, potatoes and citrus fruits have the strongest preventive effect. You should eat five or more kinds of vegetables and fruits every day, including a glass of juice in the morning, a piece of fruit in the morning and afternoon, and two or more servings of vegetables at dinner. The total daily intake is about 400-800 grams, which can reduce your risk of liver cancer by 20%.

2. Eating dairy products:

Medical research has shown that if you consume dairy products, including milk and yogurt, every day while controlling your alcohol intake, your risk of liver cancer will be reduced by 78%. Currently, children have developed the habit of consuming dairy products, but only a few adults do, so this may be improved.

3. Eat more bamboo shoots, lettuce and asparagus

Bamboo shoots, lettuce and asparagus are very common foods and they often appear on the dining table. They are not only healthy, nutritious and delicious, but eating more of these three kinds of "shoots" on a daily basis can also help reduce the risk of liver cancer.

Four groups of people are more likely to develop liver cancer

1. People with a family history of liver cancer

On the one hand, many inherited diseases that damage the liver, such as pigmentation disease and glycogen storage disease, will develop into cirrhosis, and the incidence of liver cancer is also very high; on the other hand, it is believed that the familial clustering of liver cancer is mainly caused by the clustering of hepatitis B virus. There is currently no evidence that liver cancer can be inherited.

2. People living in areas with a high incidence of liver cancer

The high incidence areas of liver cancer in my country are mainly in the southeastern coastal areas, such as Fusui and Longan in Guangxi, Xiamen and Tongan in Fujian, Qidong and Haimen in Jiangsu, Chongming and Nanhui in Shanghai, etc. In these areas, at least 30 people die of liver cancer per 100,000 people. In addition, the incidence of liver cancer is higher in coastal areas than in inland areas, and higher in southeastern and northeastern regions than in southwest and northwest regions.

3. People who drink alcohol for a long time

Long-term alcohol abuse can significantly damage liver cells and lead to malnutrition, making the liver prone to cirrhosis, which can develop into liver cancer. Of course, in addition to the above-mentioned dietary factors, hepatitis B, parasitic diseases in the liver (such as Clonorchis sinensis), and genetic susceptibility are also closely related to the occurrence of liver cancer.

4. Hepatitis B virus infection

People infected with hepatitis B virus are those who are surface antigen positive, but they are virus carriers without abnormal liver function and viral replication. The risk of liver cancer in these people is much higher than that of patients who are not infected with hepatitis B virus.
