Glass bottles are best for wine

When making your own wine, the fermentation tanks can be made of containers made of glass, plastic, stainless steel, ceramic and other materials, such as medical jars, glass sealed jars, glass sealed jars, ceramic jars, etc. For beginners, you can choose a transparent glass sealed jar as a fermentation tank, which is convenient for observing the changes in the wine and making sure the fermentation is done. For starters, the fermentation process starts and ends.

Therefore, when making your own wine, be sure to choose an open porcelain container. Never use a Coke bottle or Sprite bottle, etc. Also, do not close the container lid too tightly to avoid accidents caused by gas expansion. In addition, it is not recommended to use plastic containers because plastic is likely to react chemically with alcohol and produce some toxic substances that are harmful to human health.

Steps to making your own wine

1. Prepare tools

The tools used to make home wine are very simple. They include four 10-liter medical jars, an old wine bottle spoon, a plastic funnel, a plastic siphon (1.5 meters long, available at a goldfish market), and a nylon sock for filtering the residue.

2. Grape raw materials

When buying grapes, choose those that are ripe, plump and free of disease. The darker the color of the grape skin, the better.

3. Wash the grapes

Nowadays, grapes are packed in plastic bags and placed in plastic packaging boxes, with each box weighing about 5 kilograms. After being transported home, pour the grapes from the plastic bags into the plastic boxes, take out the preservatives, and then put the plastic boxes containing the grapes into the pool to soak. Shake the plastic boxes several times while soaking. After two hours, drain the water and rinse with clean water. Then place the plastic box in a ventilated place to dry the moisture.
