Why does moldy food cause liver cancer? Liver cancer patients should not eat too much of these foods

Many middle-aged people are about 40 years old. The intense work, busy life, and various pressures from all aspects often make people feel exhausted. Especially when they are tired, drinking, angry, or suffering from other diseases, liver damage is more common. In recent years, the incidence of liver cancer has been increasing, and it has become a major killer that seriously threatens human health. In general, the occurrence of liver cancer is closely related to daily diet. For example, long-term consumption of food that has been stored for too long or moldy and spoiled can easily induce liver cancer. Therefore, you must not eat moldy food.

Food will inevitably go moldy if it is left out for a long time. Food mold means that the food becomes rotten and spoiled. In this process, various toxic substances will be produced, which can cause fatal harm to human health.

If you smell moldy rice, or find that milk has turned sour, or think that cooking oil is contaminated by mold, then throw them away immediately. Because after the food is moldy, the microbial metabolism will produce a very toxic and strong carcinogen - aflatoxin, which is a highly toxic substance. After entering the human body, it mainly damages the liver tissue. As the body's detoxification organ, the liver is responsible for breaking down and transforming toxic substances in the body. When there are too many toxins that the liver cannot break down, they will remain in the liver. Too many toxic substances accumulated in the liver are bound to damage liver cells, and over time, liver cells will die.

Many people think that only the rotten part of a moldy apple is infected by mold, and as long as this part is cut off, the rest is still good and can continue to be eaten. In fact, this is not the case. Once the food begins to mold, the part that has not completely deteriorated has already entered the process of microbial metabolism, and has produced a large number of bacteria and toxins that are invisible to the naked eye. If we eat it, we are likely to suffer from acute poisoning. Fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, anorexia and other physical discomforts will torture us for at least three to five days. Severe cases may even cause toxic liver disease symptoms after a few months, including jaundice, liver enlargement, pain in the liver area, splenomegaly, ascites, lower limb edema and abnormal liver function. There may also be heart enlargement, pulmonary edema, and even convulsions, coma and other symptoms. Most patients will have severe rectal bleeding after death.

Liver cancer patients should not eat too much of the following 4 kinds of food:

1. Sweets

It is not advisable to eat too much sweets. Sugar is easily fermented, which aggravates gastrointestinal bloating and is easily converted into fat, which accelerates the storage of fat in the liver and promotes the occurrence of fatty liver.

2. Sunflower seeds

Sunflower seeds contain unsaturated fatty acids. Eating too much will consume a lot of choline in the body, which can make fat accumulate in the liver more easily and affect the function of liver cells.

3. Preserved Eggs

Preserved eggs contain a certain amount of lead, which can replace calcium in the human body. Frequent consumption of preserved eggs can cause calcium deficiency and osteoporosis.

4. Pickled Food

Since various pickled foods contain too much salt, eating too much of them can easily affect water and sodium metabolism in patients with liver disease, and they should be avoided in patients with cirrhosis.
