What are the dangers of hair transplantation? Be sure to be on guard!

With the development of the medical field, hair transplantation is a common cosmetic method, which uses surgery to make the hair thicker and darker. Hair transplantation is not only for cosmetic purposes, but it can also easily cause great harm to the body. Since hair transplantation is performed through surgery, it can cause scars on the scalp or damage the scalp hair follicles.

The dangers of hair transplantation

1. Will the nerves at the back of the brain be cut during hair transplantation? Most of the traditional hair transplantation techniques invented in the early days used the method of scalp cutting, which would undoubtedly injure the nerves at the back of the brain.

2. Will there be scars left after hair transplantation? Some hair transplants will leave various scars on the back of the head after surgery. Some may be in pieces, and some may be in a long strip. Some scars are so big that you can't cover them up. But for some hair transplants, the scars left after hair removal and transplantation are so small that they are invisible to the naked eye.

3. Separation of hair follicles. The success or failure of hair transplantation depends mainly on hair follicle separation. If the hair follicle separation technology is good and will not damage the hair follicles, the hair will grow well after hair transplantation. If the hair follicles are severely damaged during the separation process due to technical reasons, the hair will not grow well after the transplant.

4. Whether the hair grows well 9-12 months after hair transplantation. Because hair has its own growth cycle, it takes a long time for the transplanted hair to establish new blood circulation after hair transplantation. If the hair has not grown well within 9-12 months after the hair transplant, then the hair transplant was definitely not done well.

5. Will hair transplantation cause postoperative sequelae? Hair transplantation is a minor operation. Don’t let a minor operation lead to lifelong side effects. It is not worth it as you will suffer from the pain for the rest of your life. Scalp cutting surgery is most likely to cause postoperative sequelae.

Things to note for hair transplantation: 1. Do not receive any vaccinations 3 months before the operation. 2. Routine blood tests are required 3 months before the operation. 3. Do not drink alcohol or beverages containing alcohol 3 days before the operation. 4. Topical hair growth drugs must be discontinued 3-5 days in advance before the operation. 5. Wash your hair and take a shower the day before the operation.

Hair transplant day

1. Wear open-necked clothes on the day of surgery

2. Eat breakfast on the morning of surgery, do not go on an empty stomach

Things to note after hair transplantation

1. Pay attention to the range of bending and turning your head after surgery, and avoid bumping against doors, windows, etc. The bandage on the back of the head can be removed after surgery.

2. Avoid eating seafood, peppers, beef, mutton and other foods one week after surgery

3. Take oral anti-inflammatory drugs on time for 3-5 days

4. Within a week, especially in the first three days, the height of the sleeping pillow should be equivalent to the usual height of 3-4 pillows. This is good for blood circulation. Drink less or no water after 9 pm.

5. If you go out 3 days after surgery, wear the hat we prepared (to prevent dust, you can wear your own hat after 3 days)

6. You can shower with clean water and wash your hair 3 days after the operation. You can wash your hair with shampoo 5 days later, but be careful to wash your hair gently. 7. You can use hot compress to clean the blood scab by yourself 7 days after the operation. 8. The stitches will be removed 7-9 days after the operation, but FUE does not require stitches. Within 48 hours after stitches are removed, be careful to turn and lower your head as little as possible, and avoid getting it wet for 2 days.
