Symptoms of egg rejecting sperm

Symptoms of egg rejecting sperm

The egg rejecting sperm is the main factor leading to infertility. This means that both husband and wife have normal eggs and sperm, but the egg cannot combine with the sperm. On the contrary, mutual rejection occurs. In this case, it is difficult to conceive successfully. It is necessary to see if there is any physical illness or potential factors. We need to find out the reason why the egg discharges sperm and then provide treatment.

There are many factors that cause infertility, and egg and sperm rejection is one of them. Sometimes, there is nothing wrong with the physical constitution of a couple of childbearing age, but they cannot get pregnant for unknown reasons. In this case, they can consider whether their sperm is being rejected. In medicine, difficulty in conceiving due to sperm and egg rejection is called "immune infertility."

Conception is a complex physiological process. As we all know, there are several necessary conditions for successful conception: women can discharge normal eggs, men have normal semen and contain normal sperm; the egg and sperm can meet and combine in the fallopian tube; the fertilized egg can successfully implant in the endometrium.

1. Immune infertility! What is going on?

If a couple is in good health, has lived together for more than one year, has a normal sex life and has not taken any contraceptive measures, but has not gotten pregnant, then they should consider whether it is because the sperm and egg are "quarreling", because it may be immune infertility.

Immune infertility accounts for about 10-30% of infertile patients, including anti-sperm antibodies, anti-endometrial antibodies, anti-egg antibodies, and other types of immune infertility. The most common clinical case is immune infertility caused by the production of antisperm antibodies, and this condition can occur in both men and women.

Family members don't know each other, sperm and eggs repel each other

To understand why sperm and eggs repel each other, you need to know a special term, namely anti-sperm antibodies (AsAb for short). AsAb is a complex pathological product, the exact cause of which is not yet fully understood, but it can affect both men and women.

The human body's immune function is performed by billions of different types of lymphocytes. Lymphocytes activated by specific antigens produce two different immune responses, namely humoral immunity and cellular immunity. Once a foreign body invades a part of the body, lymphocytes are like billions of armed soldiers. They will immediately mobilize their troops and, with the cooperation of white blood cells, macrophages, etc., until the invading enemy is eliminated.

Under normal circumstances, lymphocytes have the ability to distinguish between self tissues and foreign bodies. However, under pathological conditions, the immune recognition function makes wrong judgments or cannot be recognized by the immune system due to some kind of barrier isolation. Anti-sperm antibodies (AsAb) are the product of special immunity. If the anti-sperm antibodies are positive, it can easily lead to the "accidental killing" of sperm.

Whether women or men, under special circumstances, they may produce anti-sperm antibodies. Once it tests positive, the sperm will suffer a huge disaster and it will be difficult to meet the conditions for normal conception, leading to infertility.

2. Mr. Sperm is intercepted: encountering "female anti-sperm antibodies"

Zhu Ying and her husband have a deep relationship and their sex life is harmonious. Both of them had a check-up before marriage and everything was normal. However, after more than two years of marriage, Zhu Ying was almost going crazy wanting to have a child, but she still couldn't get pregnant. After several examinations, the doctor found that Zhu Ying's anti-sperm antibodies were positive and she was diagnosed with "immune infertility."

[Revelation: Cause Analysis]

For women, men's sperm and seminal plasma are obviously foreign bodies. But under normal circumstances, women do not produce anti-sperm antibodies. Only under certain circumstances, such as inflammation and damage to the female reproductive tract, will antibodies be produced in female serum and cervical mucus. At this time, the macrophages in the female reproductive tract, especially the uterus, will cause an immune response and perform "self-defense", which can make the sperm that has penetrated the cervix inactive, agglutinate or die.

Female patients who are anti-sperm positive often have reproductive system inflammation such as endometritis, vaginitis, and salpingitis before the onset of the disease. This condition can be treated with lymphatic immunotherapy. If all the sperm that enters the female body are destroyed, how can the reproductive plan be successfully completed?
