What is the best way to diagnose liver cancer? Introduction to the best diagnostic method for liver cancer

Liver cancer is currently a tumor disease that poses a great threat to our lives and health. Since many people lack knowledge about tumors, the incidence of tumors has remained high, so it is very important to understand some knowledge about tumors. For liver cancer, in addition to understanding the symptoms of this disease, there is a lot of knowledge that we also need to understand. Among them, the diagnosis method of liver cancer is very important.

In general, liver cancer is diagnosed by:

X-ray examination: abdominal fluoroscopy or plain film shows enlarged liver shadow. Cancer in the right lobe of the liver often shows elevation of the right diaphragm, limited movement or localized bulge. X-ray barium meal examination shows compression of the stomach and transverse colon in the left lobe of the liver or giant liver cancer.

CT examination: It has a high resolution and can detect early liver cancer with a diameter of about 1.0 cm. Enhanced scanning can help differentiate it from hemangioma. The diagnostic accuracy rate for liver cancer is as high as 90%. However, it is expensive. Therefore, it is not widely used.

Ultrasound examination: B-mode ultrasound examination can show the size and shape of the tumor, with a diagnostic accuracy rate of up to 84%. It can detect lesions with a diameter of 2 cm or less, and is currently a non-invasive examination method with good positioning value. This is also one of the ways to diagnose liver cancer in life.

Selective celiac artery or hepatic artery angiography: For cancers with rich blood vessels, it can sometimes show space-occupying lesions with a diameter of 0.5 to 1 cm, with a diagnostic accuracy rate of up to 90%. It can determine the location, size and distribution of the lesion, especially for the localization diagnosis of small liver cancer, which is the best among various examination methods currently available.

That’s all we have to say about the diagnosis of liver cancer. I hope you can really understand it after reading it. For liver cancer, we should not only understand the diagnosis of liver cancer, but also the symptoms of liver cancer, which are very important for our prevention and treatment of liver cancer.
