How to check for cervical precancerous lesions How to treat cervical precancerous lesions

1. Cervical cytology examination

(1) Cervical Pap smear method: For the traditional cervical cytology examination, its widespread use has successfully reduced the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer by about 70% in the past 50 years. However, due to the false negative and high missed diagnosis rate of Pap smear, it no longer meets the needs of today's medical services and is gradually being replaced by more advanced examination methods.

(2) TCT: It is a new cytological technique invented in the late 1990s. It can significantly improve the detection rate of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions. It is the most widely used cervical cytological examination method in the world.

Human papillomavirus (HpV) testing: Identify high-risk groups and conduct further examinations.

3. Electronic colposcopy examination.

4. Cervical iodine test.

5. Check the cervix and endocervical canal activity.

6. Cervical conization examination.

7. Vaginal cytology examination.

Vaginal cytology examination notes:

(1) Before the smear, do not rinse the vagina, refrain from sexual intercourse, and do not undergo colposcopy. The smear should be performed before the gynecological examination. Do not apply lubricating oil to the speculum, but apply a little saline to avoid affecting the examination results.

(2) The slides should be dry and clean.

(3) The coating should be even and the action should be gentle. Excessive force may cause cell damage or deformation.

(4) The coating should not be too thick or too thin to avoid affecting observation.

(5) Avoid bleeding when scraping, otherwise the slide will be interfered with and covered by red blood cells, making it difficult to find cancer cells.

(6) It should be prepared immediately after taking vaginal secretions.

(7) The smear should be fixed immediately after preparation to prevent the smear from drying out and causing cell deformation, making it difficult to identify cancer cells.
