Thyroid adenoma is a benign tumor originating from thyroid follicular cells and is the most common benign tumor of the thyroid gland. It is more common in women under 40 years old. Patients often do not feel any discomfort, and the tumor is often discovered accidentally. It is usually a single nodule, mostly located near the isthmus of the thyroid gland. It is hard, smooth, non-tender, oval or spherical, with clear edges, and moves up and down with swallowing. It grows slowly, but after malignant transformation, cystic change and bleeding, the tumor can rapidly increase in size. In principle, surgical resection should be performed as soon as possible. Generally, most of the affected thyroid gland including the adenoma is removed; if the tumor is small or has become cystic, the tumor can also be completely removed together with some normal thyroid tissue around it; recently, some people have advocated complete resection of the affected lobe plus resection of the isthmus and 1/3 of the contralateral lobe to prevent the possibility of multi-center tumor foci; for multiple adenomas in both lobes, bilobectomy is performed. It is common in the active stage of thyroid function. It is clinically divided into two types: follicular and papillary solid adenomas, with the former being more common. It is usually a single nodule with clear boundaries in the thyroid capsule, with a complete capsule and a size of 1 to 10 cm. This disease exists sporadically throughout the country and is slightly more common in endemic goiter areas. At present, the most advanced method is to use combined treatment (including biological immunotherapy) to eliminate tumor tissue cells and improve immune anti-cancer ability. If this power is improved, the disease can enter a virtuous cycle and the quality of life will be significantly improved. At the same time, Chinese medicine is used for treatment. Chinese medicine has a long history and is profound. It can cure the root cause and prevent recurrence and metastasis. In addition, the mentality is very important. Don't be afraid or anxious, otherwise it will only aggravate the condition. If this can be done, the patient's life span can be significantly extended. The early treatment of benign tumors is obviously effective and can achieve clinical recovery. For patients with metastasis in the middle and late stages, active treatment and strong will can increase the life span by 5-15 years, or even longer. The key is that no surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy are required, so the cost is not high. |
