What are the types of liver cancer? There are eight types

1. Based on the histopathological classification of liver cancer
1. Hepatocellular carcinoma <br/>This is a type of primary liver cancer with a particularly high mortality rate. It is relatively common and accounts for more than 90% of primary liver cancers.
2. Intrahepatic bile duct cancer <br/>This type of liver cancer is rare, and the incidence rate is generally higher in men aged 50 to 70.
3. Mixed liver cancer <br/>When a liver tumor contains both hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma, it is considered mixed liver cancer, which is also a rare type of liver cancer.
2. Based on gross pathological classification of liver cancer
1. Diffuse liver cancer <br/>In this type of liver cancer, small cancer nodules are often diffusely distributed throughout the liver.
2. Massive liver cancer <br/>If the diameter of the tumor is greater than 10 cm, it is considered massive liver cancer.
3. Massive type liver cancer <br/>The tumor diameter is between 5 and 10 cm and belongs to the mass type liver cancer.
4. Nodular liver cancer <br/>The tumor is small, with a diameter between 3 and 5 cm, and is a type of nodular liver cancer.
5. Small cancer type liver cancer <br/>When the diameter of the tumor is less than 3 cm, it is considered small cancer type liver cancer.
