Can bone cancer be cured? It may be cured in the early stage, but not in the middle and late stages

The prognosis of bone cancer varies according to the stage. In the early stage, it can be cured clinically; when the disease develops to the middle and late stages, it cannot be cured.

1. Early bone cancer may be cured <br/>In the early stage of the disease, when there is no infiltration or metastasis, actively choosing surgical resection of the lesion can not only preserve the limbs, but also may cure the disease. Even if it cannot be cured, it may be clinically cured, and survival for five years is not a problem. Many patients can survive for decades. Clinical data show that the clinical cure rate of early treatment of bone cancer is about 70%.
2. Middle and late stage bone cancer is difficult to cure <br/>If bone cancer develops to the middle and late stages, the cancer cells have spread and metastasized, and the prognosis is very poor. In the middle stage of bone cancer, surgical treatment can be chosen, and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be used as auxiliary treatment to kill cancer cells in the body as much as possible and prolong survival; when bone cancer develops to the late stage, only palliative treatment can be chosen to improve the patient's quality of life and prolong survival.
