Staying up late is actually a very bad habit. But nowadays people are under great pressure at work and it is difficult not to stay up late. Especially after staying up late and having to go to work the next day, the body will feel very tired and sleepy. So, how can you stay up late without feeling sleepy the next day? In fact, there is no way. You can only drink more coffee or strong tea to refresh yourself the next day. So it is recommended that you don’t stay up late often. It is understood that the situation of staying up late into the night and still being clear-headed is because the human brain sends out signals of not wanting to sleep, which is called "late-sleeping OCD" in the medical community. Generally, people with late-sleeping OCD have a procrastination mentality, that is, they do not want to sleep when it is time to go to bed, and they must stay up until their body is exhausted before they want to go to bed. Generally speaking, the reason for this situation is that the work pressure is too great during the day, resulting in no leisure time, so the body will form a silent protest, relying on the evening time for leisure and entertainment, such as watching videos, chatting, etc., to obtain spiritual satisfaction, but when staying up late, the body cannot get real relaxation. Therefore, friends who have this symptom must adjust their sleep time as early as possible, try to maintain a happy state of body and mind, and do more exercise to reduce the stress of life. Otherwise, staying up late for a long time will affect our skin condition, and in severe cases, sudden death or neurasthenia may occur. People who often stay up late are prone to eye fatigue, and vitamin A can improve the eyes' ability to adapt to dim light. Therefore, night shift workers should supplement more vitamin A. Animal liver, egg yolk and milk contain more vitamin A. Broccoli, carrots, spinach, cabbage, lettuce, rapeseed, snow peas, mango, carrots, and spinach have high levels of carotene. Carotene can be converted into vitamin A needed by the human body. Night shift workers also need to supplement an appropriate amount of vitamin C. If the human body lacks vitamin C, symptoms such as decreased resistance, fatigue, irritability, bleeding gums, and weight loss will occur. Vitamin C is mainly found in fresh fruits and vegetables. Vegetables that are rich in vitamin C include peppers, chrysanthemum, beans, spinach, potatoes, leeks, etc.; fruits that are rich in vitamin C include sour dates, oranges, plums, lemons, etc. |
