How harmful is colorectal cancer?

How harmful is colorectal cancer? The word "cancer" is as frightening to each of us as the approaching death. Colorectal cancer is one of the common tumors of the digestive system. Its occurrence destroys the health and mind of every patient. So, how harmful is colorectal cancer? Let's take a look.

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor, including colon cancer and rectal cancer. The incidence of colorectal cancer is from high to low in the order of rectum, sigmoid colon, cecum, ascending colon, descending colon and transverse colon, and in recent years there is a trend of developing towards the proximal part (right colon).

1. Abdominal mass: The specific harmful manifestation of colorectal cancer may also include abdominal mass, which is mainly a tumor or a mass that has infiltrated and adhered to the omentum and surrounding tissues. It is hard and irregular in shape. Some patients with colon cancer may have a certain degree of mobility along the intestinal tract. In the late stage, the tumor infiltration of colon cancer is more severe and the mass may be fixed.

2. Right colon cancer: Right colon cancer is a common hazard of colorectal cancer. In addition, the right colon of colorectal cancer patients is wider, the stool is thinner, the colon is rich in blood and lymph, and has a strong absorption capacity. The tumor is mostly soft and prone to ulceration, necrosis, bleeding and infection. Therefore, the clinical manifestations of colon cancer patients are mainly poisoning symptoms. However, when the condition of colon cancer worsens, intestinal obstruction may also occur.

3. Tumor ulceration: Tumor ulceration is a relatively serious hazard. Experts point out that this situation is due to the blood loss and toxin absorption caused by the ulceration of colorectal cancer, which can often lead to anemia, low fever, fatigue, weight loss, edema and other symptoms in colon cancer patients. The harmful manifestations of colon cancer are particularly anemia and weight loss.

Warm reminder: The occurrence of colorectal cancer can cause extremely serious harm to the patient's body. In severe cases, it can also cause a huge psychological shadow on the patient. We cannot ignore the harm caused by colorectal cancer. I hope everyone will actively receive treatment for the occurrence of colorectal cancer.
