Will sugar turn into fat?

The role played by each substance in the human body is different. For example, the role of sugar in the human body is conversion. The role of fat in the human body is to store energy, and everyone knows that if a person eats too much sweets, it is easy to gain weight. This is mainly because these substances in the body contain a lot of sugar components, but will the sugar ingested by the human body be converted into fat?

Too much glucose will be converted into fat, because increased blood sugar will lead to insulin secretion, which will send signals to fat cells and muscle cells. The two cells will actively absorb glucose in the blood to restore blood sugar to normal. On the other hand, the insulin signal will convert pyruvate and citrate into acetyl coenzyme A. These two substances are the raw materials for the synthesis of fatty acids, which will stimulate the synthesis of triglycerides and finally lead to fat accumulation.

The metabolism of sugar in the body is actually centered on glucose metabolism. The sugar contained in the blood is glucose, also known as blood sugar. The normal fasting blood sugar level in the morning is 3.33mmol/L-5.55mmol/L. However, under the regulation of humoral factors such as nerves and endocrines, the balance of blood sugar is not stable and will also undergo some changes.

Generally, during the process of losing weight, many people think that they cannot eat sugar, and that glucose will be converted into fat, so they will not consume these foods. This is mainly because people do not understand the relationship between fat and glucose very well, and often lose weight through dieting. Long-term low-carb diets will cause lower insulin levels in the body and consume muscle, but they also need to be combined with aerobic exercise to avoid harm to the body.

The above is about the problem between glucose and fat. Too much glucose in the body will naturally lead to excess fat. There is also a certain connection between glucose and fat. Therefore, in daily life, we must control our diet, ensure that the diet is reasonable and diversified, and then combine it with proper exercise. This will be beneficial to the body and will not lead to the occurrence of diabetes.
