Introduction to osteosarcoma drugs

Today's society is a society with a high incidence of osteosarcoma. It will be helpful for future recurrences of the disease if we know more about the methods of treating osteosarcoma. In addition to surgical treatment, drug treatment is also a common treatment for osteosarcoma, and the treatment effect is also effective. The following is an introduction to the complete list of osteosarcoma medicines.

Chemotherapy for osteosarcoma should emphasize high-dose and multi-drug combination chemotherapy. Single-drug chemotherapy of tumor cells is prone to drug resistance. Combination chemotherapy of different drugs can achieve additive or synergistic effects, achieving the goal of not increasing chemotherapy toxicity and overcoming tumor resistance. At the same time, intermittent high-dose chemotherapy can increase the tumor cell killing rate, which is beneficial to protecting bone marrow hematopoietic function and immune function. Commonly used chemotherapy drug regimens for osteosarcoma are as follows:

1.AP program---21 days as a cycle

Osteosarcoma 25MG/M2IV Day 1-3

Cisplatin 100 MG/M2 IV (24 hours intravenous drip) on the second day

2. MAID regimen ------Repeat every 21 days ------Add G-CSF if bone marrow suppression is severe

Mesna 1500MG/M2CIV Day 1-4

Doxorubicin 20 MG/M2 CIV Day 1-3

Ifosfamide 2500 MG/M2CIV Days 1-3

Dacarb 300MG/M2CIV Day 1-3

3. HDMAP solution

Methotrexate 8G/M2CIV6H Day 1

Doxorubicin 60MG/M2CIV8H Day 9

Cisplatin 120MG/M2CIV96H Day 7-9

Repeat once every 28 days - post-surgery adjuvant HDMAP regimen

Methotrexate 8G/M2CIV (6H) Day 21

Doxorubicin 45 MG/M2 CIV (4H) Day 1-2

Cisplatin 120 MG/M2 IV Day 27

If the tumor necrosis is greater than 90% after surgery, the above regimen is used, repeated every 6 weeks*3 times; if it is less than 90%, the following chemotherapy is used

Doxorubicin 45 MG/M2 CIV (4H) Day 1-2

Ifosfamide 2G/M2IV (1.5H) Days 21-25

Methotrexate 8G/M2CIV (6H) Day 42

Cisplatin 120 MG/M2 IV Day 48

Etoposide 120 MG/M2 IV Day 48-50

The above introduces a complete list of commonly used medicines for the treatment of osteosarcoma. Although drug treatment is a good way to effectively improve the disease, patients must make reasonable choices based on their physical conditions.
