What are the dangers of endometrial cancer

Now society has begun to pay attention to women's health, and gynecological diseases are gradually increasing. Every female friend must pay attention to her own health and prevent gynecological diseases. In addition, the incidence of endometrial cancer has been particularly high in recent years. Next, let the experts introduce to us the dangers of endometrial cancer.

1. Endometriosis dysmenorrhea: The clinical feature of endometriosis is progressive dysmenorrhea, which is a common and prominent feature. It is mostly secondary, that is, since the occurrence of endometriosis, patients complain that they did not have pain during menstruation in the past, but dysmenorrhea began to occur from a certain period, which can occur before, during and after menstruation.

2. Rectal irritation symptoms: progressive and aggravated periodic rectal irritation symptoms are rarely seen in other gynecological diseases and are the most valuable symptoms for diagnosing this disease. The rectum, anus, and vulva are distended, painful, and feel tenesmus, and the frequency of bowel movements increases. As the lesion gradually worsens, the symptoms become more obvious, and disappear after menstruation.

3. Pain during sexual intercourse: Pain during sexual intercourse may occur when there are ectopic endometrial nodules, rectal pit nodules or adhesions in the vaginal vault, or when the ovaries are adhered to the pelvic floor.

4. Endometriosis dysmenorrhea: The clinical feature of endometriosis is progressive dysmenorrhea, which is a common and prominent feature. It is mostly secondary, that is, since the occurrence of endometriosis, patients complain that they had no pain during menstruation in the past, but dysmenorrhea began to occur from a certain period, which can occur before, during and after menstruation.

5. Infertility: About 50% of patients with endometriosis are infertile. Among patients with unexplained infertility, about 30-40% suffer from endometriosis. Endometriosis causes infertility, which is often caused by pelvic masses, adhesions, fallopian tube obstruction, poor follicle development or ovulation disorders.

Early symptoms of endometrial cancer

1. Increased vaginal discharge

Increased vaginal discharge mainly refers to increased leucorrhea, which is the most common early symptom of cervical cancer. It accounts for about 82.3% of patients. Of course, increased leucorrhea is not a symptom unique to cervical cancer. Among married women, 99.35% of those with increased leucorrhea do not have cervical cancer. Increased leucorrhea in cervical cancer occurs because the presence of cancer stimulates the hypersecretion of cervical glands. As the cancer develops, turbid, rice-washing water-like or purulent bloody serous fluid can be seen secreted from the vagina, with a special odor, even a foul odor. This is a symptom caused by necrosis and shedding of cancerous tissue and secondary infection. Some patients may also develop vulvitis secondary to this.

2. Irregular vaginal bleeding

Vaginal bleeding accounts for 81.4% of cervical cancer patients. This bleeding often starts after sexual intercourse or defecation. Some people bleed after physical activities or gynecological examinations. Menstruation is also irregular. In the early stage, the amount of bleeding is small and often stops on its own. In the late stage, the cancer invades large blood vessels, or because the cancer itself is rich in blood vessels, a large amount of bleeding may occur. Long-term chronic bleeding or acute bleeding can cause patients to have anemia symptoms. Therefore, women who have been postmenopausal for many years should be vigilant if they have vaginal bleeding.

3. Pain

This is one of the common symptoms of late-stage cervical cancer. The cancer compresses the nerves in the pelvic cavity, causing pain in the lower abdomen, lower back or thighs; if the cancer invades the rectum, constipation and anal swelling may occur; if it compresses the bladder, frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination and hematuria may occur.

4. Metastasis symptoms

The metastasis of cervical cancer usually spreads faster and more as the disease progresses, but it is not uncommon for early stage lesions to metastasize. In addition to the lymphatic system, the most common metastasis of cervical cancer is to the lungs, bones, and liver. At this time, anemia, weight loss, fever, or uremia may occur.

Warm reminder: when female friends find changes in their health, such as irregular vaginal bleeding, or extreme pain in the uterus, these are all late-stage symptoms of endometrial cancer. Female friends must go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid the deterioration of the disease, which will affect our health and lose our precious lives.
