What tests can be done to confirm malignant melanoma? After people get melanoma, they will have this mentality: melanoma is not serious, so there is no need to make a fuss. Let's take a look at the following introduction.

Melanoma is a malignant tumor originating from melanocytes in the pigmented areas of the skin, mucous membranes, eyes and central nervous system. It is a common skin tumor caused by excessive proliferation of abnormal melanocytes. It is highly malignant and accounts for the vast majority of deaths from skin tumors.

What tests should be done for melanoma?

1. Anti-human melanoma serum is used for indirect immunofluorescence labeling of melanin tissue. When the antiserum is diluted to 1:2, the highest positive rate can reach 89%.

2. Using Vacca double PAP immunoenzyme labeling method, when the antiserum dilution was 1:400, 82.14% showed a positive reaction.

3. Pigmentogen test Melanogen is oxidized after being excreted by the kidneys, making the urine dark brown, called black urine. If ferric chloride, potassium dichromate, and sulfuric acid are added to the urine, its oxidation can be promoted. If sodium nitrate is added, the urine will turn purple; if acetic acid is added first and then sodium hydroxide is added, the urine will turn blue.
