Nursing for fatigue and abdominal pain after liver cancer surgery

How to care for fatigue and abdominal pain after liver cancer surgery? We should have a certain concept of liver tumors. Most of the time, this disease is discovered in the late stage, mainly because the early symptoms of the disease are very unobvious, and many people will ignore the body's response during this period. However, in the late stage of the disease, we can't relax, and care during this period becomes the key. Let's take a detailed look at it together, hoping to be helpful to everyone.

(1) Emphasize the administration of medicine according to the clock, that is, administer the medicine once every 4 hours according to the doctor's prescribed time, and do not wait for the patient to ask for the medicine. Practice has shown that reasonable dosage and accurate administration time can eliminate the pain of 80-90% of cancer patients.

(2) The dosage of morphine needs to be tested, starting from 0.01g, and gradually increased until the patient's pain is relieved. After the patient's pain is relieved, the dosage can be gradually reduced. Therefore, a re-evaluation is required as a reference for the doctor to decide the dosage.

(3) If the analgesic effect cannot be achieved at a certain level of medication, other analgesics of the same level should not be replaced, and a higher level analgesic regimen should be adopted.

(4) Increase the drug dose by 50-100% before going to bed at night to ensure pain-free sleep.

(5) Establish the concept that cancer pain can be controlled, and this plan needs to be implemented in primary health clinics and home care.

The nursing measures for advanced liver tumors are as follows: (1) Make a good assessment of pain, listen patiently to the patient's complaints, check the location of pain, duration and intensity. (2) Have good medical ethics, and patients have the right to obtain adequate pain relief. Especially sympathy is needed to relieve the patient's pain in a timely manner, thereby gaining the patient's trust and eliminating his anxiety. (3) Under no circumstances should the administration time be delayed, the dosage of the drug be reduced, or the administration be refused due to "addiction", or a placebo be injected.

I believe that friends should have some understanding of some nursing aspects of late-stage liver cancer. If you are also one of the patients with this disease, it is recommended that you must stick to these nursing aspects, so that you can better help everyone improve their condition, and you may get unexpected results in the end.
