Shock is a relatively dangerous condition for the human body, because if the human body is in shock, it may cause brain death and result in vegetative state if first aid is not given in time. Therefore, when you find that someone around you is showing symptoms of shock, you should take emergency measures for them in time to reduce the risk factor. At this time, it is very necessary to learn some general first aid measures for shock. (1) Lie flat with your lower limbs slightly elevated to facilitate venous blood return. If you have difficulty breathing, you can raise your head and torso a little to facilitate breathing. (2) Keep the airway open, especially for those in shock and coma. The method is to raise the patient's neck, lift the lower jaw, tilt the head back as much as possible, and tilt the head to one side to prevent vomit and secretions from being accidentally inhaled into the respiratory tract. (3) Pay attention to keeping the hypothermic shock patient warm by covering him with a quilt or blanket. However, patients with septic shock and high fever should be cooled. (4) Necessary initial treatment. For shock caused by traumatic fracture, analgesia and fracture fixation should be given; those who are restless can be given appropriate sedatives; for cardiogenic shock, oxygen inhalation should be given, etc. (5) Pay attention to the transportation of patients. The rescue conditions at home are limited, and the patient needs to be sent to a hospital with the necessary conditions as soon as possible. The lighter and less handling you do for a patient in shock, the better. It is best to send the patient to the hospital closest to home. During transportation, there should be a dedicated person to provide care and observe changes in the patient's condition at any time. It is best to provide the patient with emergency measures such as oxygen inhalation and intravenous infusion during transportation. Although shock is not common, it is inevitable. We should be familiar with it and understand emergency rescue measures, and help the patient as soon as possible to avoid making the patient worse off. The adverse consequences of shock are still relatively serious, so we should pay attention to it. |
