What are the symptoms of uterine cancer

Uterine cancer is usually called uterine cancer, but it actually refers to endometrial cancer, which occurs in the inner layer of the uterus. It is a common cancer in the female reproductive system and ranks fourth among the most common cancers in women. It is more common in women aged 50 to 60, and often occurs after menopause. So what are the symptoms of uterine cancer? Let's introduce them below.

1. Menstrual disorders: Usually, due to the influence of cancer cells, the normal menstrual period will be affected, and then amenorrhea, delayed menstruation, etc. will occur. This is not the only symptom of uterine cancer.
2. Abdominal mass: When you accidentally touch the abdomen, you may find a mass that is painless, but will gradually increase in size over time. This is not considered a major symptom of uterine cancer.
3. Vaginal bleeding: Subserosal uterine cancer usually does not cause vaginal bleeding. When the tumor of intramural uterine cancer is large, it may affect uterine contraction or increase the area of endometrium, causing menorrhagia or prolonged menstruation. The symptoms are the same as those of menstrual disorders mentioned above. If it is a submucosal uterine cancer, there may be irregular vaginal bleeding, which is continuous.
4. Compression symptoms: Due to the different growth sites and sizes of uterine cancer tumors, different compression symptoms may occur. For example, if the fibroids grow on the anterior wall of the uterus, the uterine cancer patient may compress the bladder and cause frequent urination, urgency, and even urinary retention. If the fibroids grow on the posterior wall of the uterus, the early symptoms of uterine cancer may also compress the rectum and cause constipation. Fibroids occurring in the broad ligament may compress the ureter, internal and external iliac veins, and nerves, resulting in ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and lower limb edema or neuralgic pain, which are all early symptoms of uterine cancer.
