What are the pathological staging standards for ovarian cancer

Today we will learn about ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is a very common female disease. It is a malignant tumor of the ovary. It has a high mortality rate and is one of the health killers of women. The high-risk population mainly occurs in women around the menopause age.
Ovarian cancer can be divided into four stages according to the size and spread of the tumor. Stage I means that the tumor only occurs in the ovaries and has not spread to other parts. Stage II means that the tumor spreads to both ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and pelvic tissues.
In the third stage, the tumor has metastasized to the inguinal lymph nodes, and in some cases, malignant tumors are even found on the surface of the liver. In the fourth stage, the tumor has completely invaded both ovaries, and malignant tumors have also appeared in the liver parenchyma, and if ascites is present, there are also malignant tumors in the ascites.
