What are the symptoms of ulcer-type gastric cancer

What are the symptoms of ulcerative gastric cancer? Ulcerative gastric cancer is a common disease in life. Many people are not very clear about it. This disease is easily confused with benign gastric ulcers. Biopsy can help clarify. The more advanced the ulcerative gastric cancer is, the more obvious the symptoms are, and the greater the harm to the patient. Below we will introduce the symptoms of ulcerative gastric cancer in detail.

Ulcer-type gastric cancer accounts for about 1/4 of advanced gastric cancer. It is divided into localized ulcer type and infiltrating ulcer type. The former is characterized by localized tumor, disc-shaped, and central necrosis. There are often large and deep ulcers; the bottom of the ulcer is generally uneven, with raised edges like embankments or craters, and the tumor infiltrates deep layers, often accompanied by bleeding and perforation. The infiltrating ulcer type is characterized by infiltrative growth of the tumor, often forming a mass that clearly infiltrates to the periphery and deep, central necrosis to form ulcers, and often early invasion of the serosa or lymph node metastasis.

Vomiting is a symptom of ulcerative gastric cancer. Since most gastric cancers are located in the pyloric antrum, pyloric obstruction is quite common. Atypical early obstruction can cause a feeling of bloating after eating, mild nausea, and regurgitation. Typical mechanical pyloric obstruction causes gastric expansion and vomiting. The vomitus is mostly leftover food that has stayed in the stomach for too long, so it has a sour and rancid smell. Diffuse gastric cancer often does not have obstruction and vomiting symptoms.
