Exercise methods for kidney cancer patients

What kind of exercise is suitable for kidney cancer patients? After treatment, patients need to strengthen their physical exercise. Although it should not be too intense, proper exercise is still effective. In particular, some aerobic exercise is very beneficial to the recovery of kidney cancer patients. So, what kind of exercise is generally suitable? Which exercise is most suitable for the cure of kidney disease?

Kidney strengthening exercises

Kidney strengthening exercises are suitable for patients who can get out of bed and exercise after kidney cancer surgery. They can be divided into 4 steps:

1. Stand with your feet parallel and shoulder-width apart. Look at the tip of your nose, let your arms hang naturally, place your palms on the seams of your pants, and spread your fingers naturally. Lift your heels and breathe for 9 consecutive times without touching the ground.

2. Inhale again, slowly bend your knees and squat down, gradually turn the backs of your hands forward, with your knuckles facing your ankles. When your hands are close to the ground, clench them into fists with a little force (as if you are grabbing something), and inhale deeply.

3. Hold your breath, gradually stand up, let your hands hang down, and gradually clench them.

4. Exhale, stand upright, twist your arms outward, point your fists forward, squeeze your soft ribs with your elbows from both sides, and lift your body and heels upward. The above steps can be repeated several times.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese health-preserving exercise, which is characterized by being upright, comfortable, light, flexible, soft, slow and even, and orderly opening and closing. Tai Chi exercises are both natural and elegant. The key is that the waist is the pivot of the exercise and the movements are slow, which is very suitable for kidney cancer patients in the recovery period.

Sit-ups

Sit-ups are suitable for patients with good wound healing and sufficient physical strength. During the exercise, the patient lies on the bed (preferably a wooden bed) with legs together and straight, without using hands to support, and only uses the waist strength to sit up, with hands on the waist, thumbs in front, four fingers behind, and sit up and sit down 15 times in a row. If the elderly find it difficult to do it, they can reduce the amount.
