What are the postoperative care methods for kidney cancer?

The health care of kidney cancer is divided into two aspects, one is preoperative care, the other is postoperative care. 1. Post-operative care should be provided by dedicated personnel, and vital signs should be closely observed: blood pressure, pulse, and respiration should be measured every 15 to 30 minutes and recorded until the patient is fully awake and the condition is stable. Change the measurement to once every 1 to 2 hours until the next morning.
2. Observe the time, volume and color of the first urination after surgery. If there is no urine or a large amount of blood in the urine within 6 hours after surgery, contact the doctor immediately. Pay attention to the daily urine volume, color and nature, and collect samples for testing if necessary.
3. Do not eat for 48 hours after surgery, and give intravenous fluids to promote diuresis and maintain water and electrolyte balance. If gas has been discharged, liquid food can be given.
4. After nephroureterectomy, a urinary catheter must be left in place for 5 to 7 days. Pay attention to whether the wound drainage or chest closed drainage is unobstructed, the drainage volume and nature, and the bleeding of the wound. Prevent the drainage tube from falling off, bleeding or excessive urine leakage, and replace the dressing in time if it is soaked.
