How long does it take for a pregnant woman to recover from lymphoma

How long can a pregnant woman with lymphoma live? Many people's misunderstanding of cancer leads them to equate cancer with terminal illness, and lymphoma is no exception. Experts point out: "Lymphoma is not a terminal illness. Advances in medical research have made lymphoma out of the ranks of terminal illnesses." Generally speaking, the concept of "cure" of tumors is related to the "5-year disease-free survival rate."

Long-term observations have found that if cancer patients have spent the fifth year of treatment smoothly, the chance of tumor recurrence is less than 10%. At this point, they can be considered cured. "Although there is still a big gap in the treatment effects of different subtypes of lymphoma, the overall efficacy has been greatly improved, and it has become one of the malignant tumors with the best treatment effect among the few curable cancers."
According to reports, the main treatments for lymphoma include immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. At present, chemotherapy is still the first choice for most lymphoma patients. The 5-year survival rate of patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma has increased to 40% to 50%. Radiotherapy can eliminate huge tumors in the body and residual tumors after chemotherapy.
"Among them, immunochemotherapy is currently the first-line treatment option preferred by the medical community." A large amount of clinical research data shows that 50 to 60 percent of patients with early lymphoma can be cured during initial treatment using immunochemotherapy regimens represented by monoclonal antibody rituximab.
